Not much to photograph today. Lots of stuff got started today - and I imagine they will finish it tomorrow. Nikolai was here working on finishing up the painting, 3 electricians were here off and on all day, and Nall was here running the show and working hard.
The electricians have their work cut out for them - finishing what they started 7 weeks ago. Remember those 26 can lights - they are all getting their external rims. Some are "eyeballs" that we can focus on an area and some are more wide floods. We also have 2 other ceiling lights and an entryway chandelier. There are 3 pendant lights in the kitchen over the peninsula and 6 sconces in the skylights. Add to that the under cabinet lighting and 4 exterior lights on the porch. We are not at all concerned that we won't have enough light! They are also changing out all of our ivory outlets and wall switches for white ones. And we are getting a new exterior outlet on the deck.
Nikolai was working on getting the baseboard trim all creamy white and caulked and doing some touch up. He's going to come back sometime soon and put a fresh coat of paint on our front porch so it looks good when you come over.
There was talk today about doing the final walk through and "punch out" next Wednesday. If that happens it will be a whole week and a half earlier than the bid. We just love working with Nall.
Okay, one photo to leave you with. The appliances didn't get installed today - but they seem to be creeping closer and closer.

There is really not that much left. We've been working toward this for so long it's almost hard to think about us being done - but I am working on it!
