The appliances are here!

You know I've been waiting for these to go in since we bought them on July 4th.  The refrigerator and the range have now joined the dishwasher in their new homes in the new kitchen.  The microwave is the final one but it won't go in until the very last day.  We are waiting for a cabinet that will be installed first.

To say I am pretty darned excited about the new range would be an understatement. 

All of the appliances have plastic over their fronts to keep them clean and tidy while the work finishes. 









Other odds and ends finishing up today.  3 pendant lights over the kitchen peninsula.  The 3 white lights are just placeholders.  We are hoping that eventually Martha will be able to use her new glass blowing skills and that she will design and make 3 covers for the pendant lights. 

And you can see the glass is now installed in the 3 cabinets with glass fronts.

And even some (just a few) old things go back in.  We love our entry way chandelier and are happy to have it back in it's perch.  I think it's cleaner than it was when we moved out.

We don't exactly have a countdown yet - but we are thinking that next week will be the last week of the remodel.
