Light the way

Lots of lights today.  Just when I thought it couldn't get any brighter - and the Kye (the electrician) lights up another one.

Each skylight has a sconce in it - 12 inches from the bottom.  During the day we get great light and then in the evening we can light the room and up into the skylights.

AND the under cabinet lighting is in.  The lights have a high and low setting and all turn off and on with a switch.  I am going to really like working in the kitchen with these and they create great ambient lighting too.

AND the fireplace is finished - except for the doors.  We think it's funny that the fire I laid in sometime before the remodel for a fire that didn't happen, is still in there.  All through the work, my little fire complete with newspaper and kindling has been sitting there watching it all. 

We are still missing the fireplace doors - they are on order and will be in around Oct 6th (AFTER we move back in!).  Yes, no final date yet - but we think we'll be able to start moving in the first Monday in October.  We'll keep you posted.
